Let 2018 be known as the year of the Royal Babies! Princess Madeleine of Sweden just gave birth to a baby girl on March 9 at 12:41 a.m., according to the Office of the Marshal of the Realm.

The baby was born to Madeleine and her husband Christopher O’Neill at the Danderyd Hospital, and the Marshal announced both the baby and her mother are in good health.

According to E, O’Neill said in a statement that they are “thrilled about the new addition to our family.” Princess Madeleine and O’Neill also have two children, Princess Leonore, 4, and Prince Nicolas, 2. O’Neill said, “Leonore and Nicolas are looking very much forward to finally meeting their new little sister.”

Princess Madeleine first announced her pregnancy on August 27 through a post on Facebook. She wrote, “Chris and I are thrilled to announce that I am expecting. We look forward to four becoming five!”

But Princess Madeleine is not the only royal family member giving birth this year. Kate Middleton announced she was pregnant back in September and is expected to give birth sometime this spring.

Kate Middleton and Prince William also have two children Princess Charlotte, 2, and Prince George, 4. Here’s to hoping one day we can see the ultimate royal baby playdate with all six of these little guys.
